All the episodes are presented in 1.33:1 full screen, just as they aired on Comedy Central. The newer episodes look better than the older ones, but for the most part, the visual quality is the same. Just like on the sets of the series, colors are well saturated and look very fine... but contrast seems to be up way too high. As a result, there's some edge halos and noise. I also noticed a few artifacts on the episodes. Not quite perfect, but nothing really major to distract from the viewing experience, either.

All the episodes are also presented in English Dolby Digital Stereo. Yep, it's more of the same: even, straightforward tracks that have a discrete effect here and there - but overall, limited in its dynamics. The show's dialogue is clear and easy to hear, its music sounds fine (especially the variety of singing numbers in the episode "Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics") and some of the sound effects provide a little kick. There's not much else to say, but you probably know what you're in for. English closed captions via your television are also available.

A lump of coal. (Read: nothing.) But come on - not even the original "Spirit Of Christmas" short that started it all? (It's on the show's "greatest hits" release...)

You get some of "South Park"'s finest episodes with this obvious cash-in for the holiday season, but unless this is a gift or you're a casual fan, there's no reason to bother with it. If you're a die-hard fan of the show then you probably own all the series sets which already feature these episodes, and there's no improvements on the episode presentations or any supplements.
