The six episodes are presented in 1.33:1 full screen, and there's not much to say about them. Not that expecting a clean-up of the episodes was a realistic proposition, but scratches, dirt and blemishes do come up pretty often. The image quality is on the soft side, and appears a bit faded. Noise is a little bit of an issue, while colors are a bit blah and detail is just decent. Watchable, but nothing else.

The English Stereo tracks are no great shakes - I did detect some hissing. Stereo effects are pretty non-existent when it comes to the sound effects. The songs feature in the episodes sound pretty decent, while dialogue is easy to hear. You can hear what's going on, but sometimes things are on the rough side.

English closed captions are available through your TV set.

Nothing.

Chipettes fans, rejoice - Alvin and the gang's female counterparts now get their own collection. (And riding the wave of the successful 2007 feature, I'm sure.) The release doesn't offer much presentation wise, but nostalgia - or turning others on to what you watched as a kid - can be priceless. Or at least worth the disc's retail price.
