400 Reviews, More "Monsters"
With the addition
of the three Crocodile Dundee movies, DVDlaunch has now
passed 400 reviews (yay!). I'd like to thank all who visit,
the staff and studios who make the site what it is. As we
are getting into November, you'll probably be noticing more
site changes than this main page. More are coming along, and
I hope that I will have everything completed within the next
two weeks. A new staff roster will also be featured. When
that's all done, I'll officially unveil the new DVDlaunch!
YAY.
The box office was
strong this weekend. Monsters, INC. passed 100 million and
stayed in the number one spot with an impressive 45.6
million. Behind it in second place and off to a strong start
with 22.5 was Shallow Hal. The One dropped to third with 9.1 million,
while Domestic Disturbance raked in 8.6 and David
Mamet's latest, Heist stole 7.8.
K-Pax slipped down to sixth with 6.4, while
the Thirteen
Ghosts
remake was next with 4.4. With an expansion of theaters,
Life As A
House made
the top ten with a fine 3.8 while Riding In Cars With Boys
and
Training
Day brought
in respective amounts of 2.1 and 2 million each.
Next week...
DVDlaunch 2.0 nears completion and... HARRY POTTER!
