Weekend Box Office

Despite some harsh reviews, Driven rose to first place with 12.2 million. It's been awhile since Stallone wirrten a movie, and it seems audience wanted a dose of action for the weekend. In second was Bridget Jones's Diary with 7.5, followed by Spy Kids and Along Came A Spider with respectable grosses of 5.8 and 5.6 million. Crocdile Dundee In Los Angeles was in fifth place with a meager 4.7.

Blow was sixth with 3.4, while two other new releases bombed and tied with one another. The teen thriller The Forsaken and Town & Country each made three million... not impressive, and also considering the huge, troublesome history of "Town & Country" (it was delayed thirteen times, budget doubled to around 90 millionfilm reels stolen while filming, three years in the making, no premiere etc). Looks like New Line is losing their shirts... especially after the "Little Nicky disaster".

Rounding out the top ten were two gross-out comedies, Joe Dirt and Freddy Got Fingered, each with 2.7 and 2.5 million.
