Still the "King"
As we approach the
giant start of the summer movie season of 2002,
The Scorpion
King gets
it last spot (in all likelyhood) at the top by taking in
another 18 million. That's a 50% drop from last week, but
still quite good. In second and still holding on is
Changing
Lanes with
9 million, followed by newcomer Jason X with a partly 6.6 million for its
opening weekend. Murder By Numbers seems to be a
disappointment, taking in 6.3 this past weekend with another
newcomer Life Or Something Like
It a drop
below it with 6.2.
The
Rookie
brought in another 5.6 to its tally, while Ice Age froze up another 5 million.
Rounding out our top ten is Panic Room with 4.2 million, High Crimes with 3.1 and finally,
The Sweetest
Thing with
2.9.
Stay tuned for next
weekend... Spider-Man is on his way to conquer the box
office as an exciting season of movies begin!
