"Kids" Still Rule
Spy Kids once again took the top spot at the
weekend box office, as it has made back its original budget
and looks like to be the biggest hit of the Spring. It raked
in a very nice 17.1 million.
In second was the "Kiss The Girls" prequel, Along Came
A Spider with a healthy 16.7. Blow earned a
respectable 12.4 opening, and Pokémon 3: The
Movie came in fourth with a decent 8.4, but compared to
what the first two opened up with, this is a clear sign that
the movie franchise is dying.
Someone Like You dropped to fifth with 5.3,
Heartbreakers in sixth with 5 million, Enemy At
The Gates with 3.4 in seventh and rounding out the top
ten are The Brothers with 3 million, Crouching
Tiger, Hidden Dragon with 2.8 million and Tomcats
with 2.8 million.
That's it for now... but look for a giant update next
week as we celebrate 200 reviews (yay!) among other
things...
